About Ros:-

Although living back in the Midlands only since 2001, she is in fact Midlands born and bred, with the majority of her extended family originally coming from Hampton-On-The-Hill near Warwick. As a young child her family moved to Leicestershire and finally to Northamptonshire when she was 7 years old, to the village where her parents live to this day.

Although raised in a Christian family, a life of ministry was never on the cards! After school she initially studied medicine before transferring onto a Physiotherapy degree, a career in which she remained for some 17 years. Working primarily with children and young people, the last 13 years of her career were spent living in Lichfield and working at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, a place she loved.

It was whilst on a pilgrimage in the Holy Land in 2009 that she first began to feel Gods prompting. She then began the most incredible journey; a journey which saw her leave  home,  career and friends behind to study full-time for 2 years at Westcott House in Cambridge, leading to Ordination in June 2016 in Lichfield Cathedral. Since that time this whirlwind journey with God has continued with a curacy in Holy Trinity Heath Town and now, to this exciting new chapter at St Stephen’s.
